1st Air Cavalry insignia for Extreme Makeover Home Edition
This was a piece I donated to the TV show Extreme Makeover Home Edition, for an injured Fort Hood soldier. It is constructed of three sections of 10 gauge steel, painted, and mounted with nylon spacers onto an outdoor theatre screen frame. I wanted to give it a dimensional look.

The installed finished piece mounted to the back yard theater screen frame.
The architect (in green jacket) supervises the installation of the retractable movie screen in the back yard. When the screen is up, you see the 1st Air Cav emblem.

Completed, assembled, unpainted insignia.
Co-host Xzibit (Alvin Joiner), was kind enough to help with the painting of the emblem and was a super nice guy - and funny.
